Sunday morning old man soccer at 8700 feet is a beautiful thing; Wicked fun way to workout

it took me 9 whole months to determine a DIY solution to hang this unbalanced head. my wife made sure i knew, every single day, that it still wasn't on the wall and instead still sitting on our bedroom dresser. i kept telling her i was sitting under the apple tree like isaac newton waiting for the apple of an idea to hit me on the head. today was the day.

Out foraging for mullein leaves today. Went by an old Duck hunting area from my teens.
I have no idea what the tall plant is in the last pic.
Found out the tall plant has opium like medical white sap.

Glassed up this cactus bull (I think?) this morning while looking for bucks. That bottom left bull is a solid 5x5. Top right had tennis ball shaped pedicles and is the biggest bodied elk I've ever seen.

Nothing to exciting on this Sunday for us. This guy picked the wrong persons bedroom window to be outside yipping at 2:30am. Was pacing the wife’s goat pen.

This is pretty amazing...

Vermont has designated camp sites on islands accessible by boat (or paddle) within Champlain Lake.
Water gently clapping the shoreline... I think I may sit on my figurative "dock on the bay, wasting time, ohhh-oh-oh"

Wife and I are relaxing for a simple one night stay. We'll boat over to one of the marina restaurants or maybe, to hell with it... We have marshmallows, graham crackers, and Reese's...
