McConnell AFB open house featuring the Thunderbirds this weekend. On Friday they ran a dress rehearsal and used the space directly over my office to complete their turns back to the runway.

Cleaning out the closet in the camper this morning taking advantage of the campground dumpster and found this beauty hiding in the way back. Not 1 not 2 but 3 pockets, an adjustable strap and in dark green. One of a kind.

I tried my 30 Nosler out at longer ranges yesterday in anticipation of an upcoming trip for elk.

I took a break from searching for the elusive, probably non existing elk on the Kiabab/Arizona Strip to spend a couple of days with my wife and rescue Maltese, Kasey. I never tire of the beauty of the Grand Canyon's North Rim.

Magical. That’s the only way to describe it. Truly, a magical moment.

As a kid i remember my dad would wear it on mountain bike rides when we were camping. Keys, tp, and a money clip.
