Anyone ever hunted pheasants here? We've got an antelope hunt the last week in October and then plan on hitting the pheasant opener in Nebraska on the way home. I saw they have a structured type of season here and considered trying it out so was looking for any info some of you might have. I understand they had a draw for it but you can be put on a list to hunt the area in the morning. Just curious if anyone had insight into it. Thanks in advance!

It is a fun time plenty of birds and good cover. Should have no problem walking on during the week. There are some rattlesnakes around so keep an eye on your dog.
