Montana has NO seasons on any kind os squirrels, ground, or tree.

Many years ago I used to subscribe to Outdoor Life Magazine. One fall my monthly copy of the magazine arrived with a renewal notice, and the cover story that month was titled something like "Squirrel Season Opening Day Jitters."
I had just finished a great Montana hunting season having killed deer and antelope bucks, a bull elk, and either a bull moose or bighorn ram, all on DIY hunts, and several on solo hunts. No offense to squirrel hunters, but I couldn't get excited about the squirrel hunting article. I didn't renew my Outdoor Life Subscription.
