What's going on everyone - I have been lurking the site for general information for a little while without creating an account. Trying to piece together a plan to head out West for the first time (buying first set of preference points this year). Without any direct acknowledgement, rather a general Thank You for all the prior information! Grew up mostly hunting Whitetails/Turkey/Small Game in Southwestern Ohio & Southeastern Indiana as a kid. Do a good bit of smallmouth fishing during the off months of hunting in the summer.
Hoping to convince someone to tag along to a western hunt in the next year or so. This might seem somewhat odd, but is it uncommon to join people that head out West? I would say most of my buddies either have financial restraints when it comes to investing $$ to a DIY style hunt or strictly they have no interest other than hunting big Whitetails.
