My favorite little spot for a trail cam has never been so dead, which double sucks because its an arse breaker to get in there. Only 50+ pics and a 1/3 of those were wind blowing branches or bushes around. I usually get 250-300 in three weeks here. Hope this isn't signs of days to come. But I did get something I think is pretty cool. I think this really awesome colored griz came back around after two years.

Here it is in '07

Then I got this pic on today's trip in. It is walking in almost the exact same spot, looks like it put on a few pounds and a little height.

And here he/she is at another wallow in the same basin the next day.

And not much else.

Looks a little different in 3 weeks, you can see those bushes popped out of the snow, I think they were setting off the cam.

Sweet pictures, definitely looks like it could be the same bear.

Don't give up on it yet. It's early and if where you are at is anything like where I hunt there is plenty of water around. As temps rise and small creeks run dry you should start to see more action. Cool pic of the griz.
