I went on a deer damage permit hunt and the youngest came along with a camcorder. So this is his results.

Why would any Fish and game allow bucks to be killed during a depradation type hunt?

You would have to ask them but my guess is too many deer is too many deer for a farmer/orchard owner. Apples get eaten by both bucks and does.

If I shoot a buck the antlers have to go to the Division of Wildlife. That sort of helps with who shoots what. I pretty much only want does without fawns at this time.
 
Fawns are good eating... ;)

We're waiting for the draws around here to see who gets to predation hunt this year...
 
Have Cody try a single stand stick that fits under the camera and rests on the ground, they're light weight and telescope into a small size

This will help remove jitters
