Just about the most fun you can have with your pants still on.I have to say, a 16" .223 bolt gun with a can is about as much fun just popping rocks as I've had in a long time.

Do you know which suppressor you’re putting on the end?Building my first suppressed this year. Many have said once you hunt with a can you won’t go back. I often wondered how game reacted at distance versus a super loud break at first light. Perhaps creating follow up opportunity or another bull from the group.
Building mine for Alaska and elk hunting.
338 Norma mag with a 20” barrel suppressed shooting the 250 Barnes LRX’s.
I ordered the Nomax 33 hopefully will arrive by the time by rifle is built.Do you know which suppressor you’re putting on the end?
My experience is game seem to be confused at which direction the shot came from and it causes more of a pause. Similar to what you see on videos that guys take from long ranges.
Last year I was using my 338 wby rpm on a cow tag. Herd of 20-30. No reaction what so ever. Shot 250-300 yds. A few elk actually wandered over to the one I just shot to see what had happened. If I had more then one tag it would have been an easy follow up.
