Looks like he shot it right at the bottom then, I hope they had a boat to get it out vs. packing it over the top. An empty pack is not fun to pack up in that country, let alone one loaded with a sheep.

I think with that ram I would carry it out, muscle group, by muscle group if needed.

2011 CO Raffle Ram

Officially scored yesterday - 191-2/8" net. Biggest ram in CO in over 10 years. Was with Jeremy P. (NV) when he shot the ram. Great hunt and will be a feature story in the upcoming Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society color magazine called The Bighorn - due out in January and available at WSF show in Reno.

I'm only 35 years old but have a good start on killing a bunch of rams for myself as well as taking out a few family members and friends.

I love sheep hunting. It is my #1 animal to hunt and I have hunted them every year since I was old enough at age 14.
