@Sytes they also originally put cocaine in Coca-Cola. You can find adds for all kinds of stuff that wouldn’t fly today.

IMHO you have to compare firearm advertising to their contemporaries is other industries.
I hear your humble opinion and IMHO, I disagree. The capabilities of plastic molding, railing of modern design "over the past 40 years" has dramatically improved since world war I...

IMHO, the adaptability, due to advanced modeling, and the market to improve ANY item, including firearms is Business 101, Marketing 101... etc. Amazing the adaptation of metal crafted items for the old Garand, versus modern M4's, etc...

Hence, a difference in production for law abiding Americans purchase of lawfully crafted items is common practice for any business model. The claim of some that changes are differing is due to ingenuity, business, and finding a demand to make more efficient firearms. (i.e. vertical front grip, picatinny rails, etc) is not accurate (IMHO), it IS a differing ability to create components.
Edit: apologies... dealing with multiple issues:
Basically the claim there is a new marketing ploy is not accurate. Firearms have always maintained marketing tactics... now with the advance ability of molding, etc the attachment opportunity is immense. That's not a new firearm marketing tactic. That's all business marketing since business began <period>.

I would post the “Clenched Fist of Truth” video that exemplifies the radicalization of the NRA, but I can’t find it. Busse claims the NRA has changed into a political organization that uses these types of tactics that create divisions and radicalize our society.

Another example he brought up is how the NRA twisted the tragedy of the school shootings into a claim that the problem is that there aren’t enough guns. Gun sales skyrocketed, based on fear of gun control.

These types of strategies created the part of the gun culture where armed people show up at rallies to intimidate the participants.

Now a growing number of people think and armed conflict will be needed to save America from the liberal communist agenda fueled by voter fraud, etc. we aren’t heading in a safe direction.

We aren't.

But about 67% of the country believes that, not just the 10 million ish NRA members.

Wait. Are you saying that an appropriate response to government overreach in inappropriately targeting protesters for sanctions and prosecution is shooting the arresting officers and politicians who order the arrests?
Armed citizens are a deterrent from this type of thing happening. Nothing said about shooting officers or politicians.

It's a LEO ad... Come on Ben... you can do better than that. Stick with a politician who believes in faith, the Second Amendment and Right to choice... for the baby. ;)

I mean, this chit screams "responsible gun company" to me.

This literally just happened near me. Dude gets pissed because his neighbor is having a fire in neighbors yard. Goes over screaming and yelling. Goes home, gets his shotgun, shoots towards the neighbor, shoots in the air. People in a nearby back yard find the spent wad near where their children are playing. Husband and wife go out to see wtf, husband tells wife to call police. Dude says you call the police and ill $*)Q!#@$ kill you. Family hunkers down and calls police. Two show up and both are shot in the head by angry shotgun neighbor. Luckily for the cops, dude was shooting birdshot.

Dude had no criminal record. He was drunk and decided to throw away the remainder of his 60 year old life on this little hill of a neighbor having a bonfire.

This ad says when knock knock won't do. That means a person is instigating contact. Why the hell would anyone knock on a door they felt they needed to armed to knock on? That, right there is a prime example of gun culture.

And only LEOs read law enforcement magazines? The ad is in poor taste.
