Reagan airport crash 1/29/25

Get rid of them all. ET will guide us.

I hope to Holy Hell we don't have ATC's in PJs at home, letting their dog out the condo to pee while managing air traffic. 🤣🤣🤣

Anything to latch onto lib lost election agenda...

"Friday that controllers weren’t eligible for the resignation plan or subject to the hiring freeze across much of the rest of federal government."

Please elaborate.
I think this is key.

Far too often typed words convey different sentiment depending on the internet forum's public and mostly anonymous opinions at the time reading a post.

It hit me with the use of the word "woman" slightly as why identify gender for a soldier. Though America is learning more and more of active positions in military for females. I speak proudly of my grandmother who's photo and quotes for WWII war bonds are in museums from the NAVY WAVES days. I've personally not seen a clear photo of two females operating a military copter before. It caught my attention as well as "female" military. Very cool! Though it is not a discriminatory position to catch that, huh - cool. quick thought. I don't know the poster's intent. Do you? No, if you're being honest with yourself.
However, the opinion of political posturing opinion shared, I do not see near as much as a couple others here. If she, (can I type "she" w/o getting hammered as discriminatory?) truly is/was an aid for the Biden Admin, I could see how media wise, the extremes pop their tin foil hats over such thus, "nuclear"?
I've no idea.
Thus, I agree with JLS's simple inquiry.

Me overwhelmed ... you underwhelmed.

Good lord, partisan politics is disgusting. Take your disparagement of an American servicewoman, who by all accounts served with distinction throughout her career, somewhere else.
It’s funny when you reach the age you start thanking people for their service

The thing that bothers me is the IP only had a bit over 1000 hours and he was a W-2. I can’t ever recall seeing or hearing of a pilot that green being a IP. Saying he had 300 hours of NVG time would probably be generous. Commissioned officers typically don’t have as much time as their WO equivalents due to staff duties. Just my thoughts.

Currently boarding an AA CRJ for Reagan...ticket was booked before this horrific tragedy. I know my odds of drawing my hail mary elk tag in WY are far better than the odds of the worst happening, but if I suddenly disappear from the forum...well, it's been fun.
