A man shot three tree workers while they were clearing trees for a power company before being shot himself by police officers during his arrest, police said.

Yep, I’m glad I don’t do work for the utilities. Their job is to come in and clear the wires. They cut peoples trees away from the wires whether the homeowner wants it or not. The utility owns the air space around the wires. I’ve seen it get nasty before and require a police officer to be present while clearing is taking place but that’s crazy.

Per the article, I would have to say I think hunters using high-frequency receivers to find radio-collared wolves to shoot is pretty much the antithesis of fair chase, regardless of your feelings on wolves.

German lynx take down deer on the reg? I know NA lynx do sporadically and opportunistically but I thought lynx in Europe were smaller.
