I have long thought that the Pronghorn Antelope are one of our prettiest big game animals, and over the years I've mounted too many of the bucks that I've shot.

I posted this pic yesterday on the Antelope thread, but it really belongs on this one. It's not mine, but I think it is the best antelope mount that I have ever seen. It was the #1 antelope in the 30th B&C Awards Ceremony and was displayed last summer in the Bass Pro Shop's Wonders of Wildlife Museum in Springfield, MO. His longest horn is over 18" and longest prong is 7".

Nah. Ive shot two and I’m waiting on the taxidermist to call and tell me my second shoulder mount is ready for pick up. I’m batting .1000.
 
I've hunted them most years since the early '70s. I quit getting them mounted when I got 7 on my wall. However if I would ever get one like is on that pedestal pic that I posted...
