Handmade wonton soup and left over pulled pork quesadilla

Breaded and fried deer steaks with mashed potatoes and scratch made mushroom onion gravy

Elk round steak with blue cheese cream sauce. Cauliflower salad and green beans.

Not very fancy plates, but last night was cast iron beef tenderloin with steamed broccoli and french fries (both with some garlic salt and shredded cheddar) and a cheap Cab...



And tonight was shrimp quesadillas. With homemade margaritas, but I drank them too fast to get a pic.

Tried Meateater’s Venison Heart Bulgogi. Followed the recipe pretty close, except I have an excess of pork hearts to use so I used them instead. Had two to use, but had to trim them up quite a bit so in reality it was probably pretty close to the same as one heart or just a little more.

Did it as a stir fry kinda, and added brocoli, celery, carrots, and mushrooms to it.

Pan seared salmon filet with sun dried tomato and spinach Tuscan cream sauce, over rice with steamed carrots and broccoli, and grilled naan bread.

Forgot the picture, but tried Hank Shaw’s Steak Diane tonight. Thought I pulled a steak package out but somehow it turned into a roast overnight, so it was a bit chewy but overall very good. It was a hit with my wife and I both. Served with a salad, but next time I’d do some garlic potatoes. I think it would be perfection. If you’re really want the picture, check it out on Hank’s website. I promise it looked just like that.
