I like how Canada is one big region, they not only got their scale wrong, but the average Canadian also f'ing hates Timmies.

you can't blame that on Zeev, it was a heck of a play anticipating that pass and it was the correct pass to make.I guess looking back none resulted in a goal, but resulted in many good chances against. 5 on 6 play at the end probably should have been a goal but Boldy saved it with his trip
I will blame him cause I decided in my head he's not readyyou can't blame that on Zeev, it was a heck of a play anticipating that pass and it was the correct pass to make.
At the end of the first and very noticeably in the second, you could literally see he was nervous with the puck with an opportunity to shoot. He chose not to and both of them immediately led to turnovers. First game jitters right there for sure. But then in the third he got two shots and one went on goal. You could see he was confident handling the puck in the neutral zone and even 3 times attacking and carrying the puck past the blue line - something we haven't really seen from a Wild defender at all this season. The defenders on our team are built for defensive and for that aspect alone, I will side with you that perhaps Merril needs to play instead. Our strong defensive core with smart decision makers and fundamentals are what is going to give them a better chance to win this series. By tossing in a bright offensively minded defensemen right into high pressure hockey with a lot of physical play was the gamble last night and while I don't think he significantly contributed to the loss (frankly the Wild overall played a great game and the score could have went either way) he also didn't flash anything special which would warrant the spot.I will blame him cause I decided in my head he's not ready
I'm extremely interested to see if they keep him in one more game to see if it was just first game jitters. Maybe getting more playing time will help with that instead of having faber play half the game every night
Hockey: The only sport where you have to have a 2 minute timeout for not playing nice with others. Maybe it's time for the other sports to stop treating their players like babies.
