Woke up this morning to my 6 year old drawing Daddy a pic of things she enjoys doing with me, deer hunting and eating pizza. Man I love that little girl!

My canyon crawling, mountain climbing, bushwhacking, load humping, ground sleeping, backcountry SOB pardner for 27 years is moving on to retiree stage. Deserves it.
We've logged countless miles, ascended and descended tens of thousands of feet, and seen some country while traipsing around SW MT's mountain ranges - public lands.

I didn't say they were wild birds. 'Twas at a preserve, which is about the best I can do for birds in this state. That said, wild chukar in ID is on Hank's bucket list that I made for him...
