Photo Regrets

If he's in it, chances are it's a regretful photo.

You lie. That is a great picture of me, and it is good that the other guy is covering his face to keep it a great photo.

Nothing wrong with that. It's hard to find bulls that aren't afraid of bedding real close to humans. Especially truck beds:D

Ok, I've seen all these photo regrets, and have to say most of mine aren't that good. Here's some. Start with 1st Bull at age 12
1stbull12.jpg

1st 4 x 4 Buck no shot on site just in the back of the old Willey's Broke finger in football game.

1st Bear with a bow, again no picture on site. Age 19

7 x 7 382 gross, this pic was posted in a sporting goods store in town. I was standing by it when a fella wanted to know how a 16 year old girl shot this nice bull. That hurt.

This is nice, a cut in half buck deer.

Some nice lopes, but not so nice pics. circa 1987

A few more regrets.

A got within 40 yrds of this bull but the wind was so strong I couldn't hold the bow. My buddy handed me his rifle and I shot him. Terrible picture in the cold wind, with the bow leaning on it.

Does anybody know if it's hard on the clutch of a Yamaha Big Wheel to drag a bull with it? I drug this little bull up hill for over a mile that way. The clutch was a smoking. My back felt good though. Archery bull killed on last day of season.

More regrets. A small bull I spied bedded across a big canyon. All I could see was his head through an opening the size of a pie plate. He was around 400 yrd. I built a nice shooting bench out of trees and settled in to see if I could slide a bullet into his head. Took my bullets out practiced a few shots, thought yea I can hold on. Put the bullet back in settled the cross hairs at about where his brows take off the main beam and let drive. Suppose I could have put his eye's back in his head before the picture.

I regret this for obvious reasons. This is Not a MR Nice Frame. It's not any kind of Nice frame.

Here's a cat that was convinced I was elk dinner. I should have set the shot up much better. Bad light, and situated him. It's not like they come in every day. Maybe 5 of 6 times in 10 years but not every day.

For a bunch of bums that sit around all day bitching on a hunting site, you guys sure are good at killing chit.

The staging of these photos may suck but the pictures are awesome. Like Randy said, you guys are good at killing some beasts.

The one thing that is obvious is everyone pretty much did the same thing. Appears there is no reason to be down about it. Be happy you do have pics. And I agree some of the old ones are still pretty cool even if they are taken in the back of a truck.

I am happy there is another Psycho that whacks critters in half though:D
