Sunset over Lake of the Woods, Ontario. 14,000 islands, 65,000 miles of shoreline, millions of fish. My favorite place on earth.

West of the rockies, north of Arizona, east of Japan, south of the north pole. All the other pictures looked to warm for me

Moonrise in the Elkhead Mountains of Colorado. The photo was taken on opening day of the second rifle season 2013.

After twelve hours trudging through a few feet of snow I had a set of sore legs, a wet rear end, and a bull elk with my tag on it laying in the timber below the rockslide on the slope in the picture.

While I could have gotten sore legs and a wet rear at a ski resort, the elk would not have been possible without public land. :)

Waterburg Mountains, Republic of South Africa. The dark continent is an amazing adventure that will not soon be forgotten. The baboons were howling and screaming in the cliffs behind me as we walked out from the evening hunt.

First off... what INCREDIBLE photos. How about a Hunttalk photo book??

Mine is kinda plain, however, it means a lot. The Fort Pierre National Grasslands in South Dakota..... many memories with man's best friend... Hank & Mike.... while hunting Sharptails and Prairie Chickens.

Nevada

I'm always finding old cars and trucks while hunting in Nevada. On this day I saw the biggest bull elk of my hunting career. He just happened to be in between the mountains hanging out in the sage brush. Makes a guy wonder what the individuals was doing on the particular day that the car broke down. Good Luck to all.
