Photo contest - Landscapes

A long way from my home! Near top of Mount Hebgen Montana, just mine and my buddies foot prints in the snow.

Cheers

I have some good pictures from my western hunts, but they are not of the same quality that have already been shared here. So, I'll represent the midwest with this photo, taken last winter during a predator hunt at Land Between the Lakes, Kentucky.

Perhaps it's the whitetail hunter in me, but I love the view of cut cornfields and thick riverbottom from the base of a tree.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that. I miss it sometimes, real bad.

One of these days, I'm going to plan a whitetail trip to the LBL in the fall and a turkey trip in the spring.

Sandhills of Western Nebraska. Last day holding out for a nice Mulie I topped out on a hill and 345 yards away a real nice Buck was breeding a doe. I let him finish........Boom! John

Flightseeing tour over Denali. All that rugged country seeming to go on forever. I'm a pretty tough guy, but this stuff got me choked up a bit and REALLY stoked the fire to make Alaska my home someday.
