Pause on Federal Grants - MD25-13

I just tried reading Nothing Like It in the World by Stephen Ambrose, about the building of the transcontinental railroad. I returned it to the library when the abdication of Lincoln's federal government to private financiers (including the largest giveaway of federal land to corporations in our history, which is what funded the construction and made trust multimillionaires that dominated our economy until TR busted their trusts) kept getting replayed in the daily Trump trumpet.
What?

If its so blatantly unconstitutional that even some random person that goes by Gulf of America on a hunting website can sniff out its legality, then it shouldn't take 4 years to litigate. I mean you have it sorted out already. Any hack JD should have this one wrapped up by the end of the day.
So the VFD should sue for enforcement of the contract for the radios or a rancher should sue to for the funds to build the water tank? Seem unrealistic. A federal judge already told the Admin to release funds and that has been appealed. You have to note that the payments should have been release during the appeals process but the Admin has refused to do that. So we will see what the appeals court says. Maybe it goes to SCOTUS? Just remember that the executive branch enforces the Judicial branch orders. Trump has demonstrated a willingness to just ignore the judicial orders, personally and in office. In this case I mostly fault congress for not doing its job.

I hear the word "hope" a lot in regards to the cuts. I have hope too. My problem is that never in the course of human history has an oligarchy resulted in LESS corruption. It looks to me like if someone wants something, be it a payment or law or tariff, they have to put your MAGA hat on and go kiss the ring in front of the camera.

Didn’t SCOTUS tell Biden that he could not pay off student loans ? Seems like he continued to do that anyway.

Interesting video. Should be played for all sitting members of Congress.
I would rather see it on all "broadcast media" shown split screen with Horse face, the burn, or Pocahontas loosing in their shit in front of a podium, like they have been showing everyday since Doge started cooking ...Those jackasses already know the game, they all played it to get there..voters need to be reminded.

I am sick of tired of both sides repping there jersey in public, then both sides go behind closed doors pat each other on the back and lining their pockets with our tax dollars.

Sorry for not being clear. Read the parenthetical after reading the rest of the post. Trump is giving governmental control to individuals and entities that are deliberately outside Congressional oversight, and who have their own fiscal interests ahead of the nation's. As does Trump IMO.
Different take - but the richest man in the world only loses by doing what he is. Every politician conducting "oversight" can be completely bought and has been. How are you going to buy the richest man in the world?

Edit : to add - if he was going for oligarchy - why not go about it the old tried and true way of corrupting politicians?

No. SCOTUS killed the idea of widespread debt forgiveness. That was never done. The process you may be thinking of is forgiving loans to for-profit colleges that defrauded students (allegedly). Students were able to challenge those loans on the basis of fraud to the education dept under Obama. The legal challenging on those programs were stopped by Trump I (Trump University anyone? anyone?). A class action was later filed in court and later Biden forgave some of those loans. Like it, don't like it, regardless, that is the way the legal process should work.
