Over the years I’ve enjoyed multiple “packouts”

First personal warm blooded success was a yellow necked francolin. Hand carry packout.



My dad loved his Articreal fish creel. Usually used wet grass to line the creek and keep the trout cool. This day we had snow along the creek bank


Sometimes it’s as simple as a stringer.


Turkeys get invited to go home with me on the regular. I much prefer strapped to a pack or the use of a turkey sling compared to the traditional over the shoulder, letting their head slap your backside all the way to the SUV.




Canadian bear guides strapping your big black bear to the
hood of their 4 wheeler makes for a relatively simple bear retrieval. What one might not realize is that in assisting lifting the big boy into the 4wheeler, a bunch of lung blood splashed your camera lens.
