Definitely put in for a tag, would be the cheapest bull hunt you'll ever find. I live here in PA, drew a tag my first year for a bull. Got a gorgeous 6x7 the first day, had an incredible time as tons of people come out to the elk check station and they cheer when you arrive with your elk - feels like winning the world series. There are bulls taken each year that approach 400", and I believe that there are some that have exceeded it. Guided hunt may cost you a few thousand, but you may have 6 guys scouting for you!
You get one PP each year you apply, and that results in your name being put into the pool that many more times (3PP = your name in the pool 4x - 3+1). There have been people that have drawn twice in the past 13 years of the hunt, so it's worth spending a few bucks on (in my opinion)!
