How I feel when I remember I've never given any of these scummy "conservation" groups a cent of my money and never will.

If anyone is interested, I know @Oak would be happy if you bought some raffle tickets to their Colorado statewide sheep tag. Between that raffle, the Wyoming Super Tag (hope Mrs. Fin doesn't question that "investment") and a few others, there are plenty of places to gamble on tags for those inclined to spend their money elsewhere.

The Wyoming Super Tag closed on January 31 this year. Don't be hating on me when I draw. I took a year's advance on my allowance and donated it to the Super Tag and the Access Yes program.

I think the Wyoming Wildlife Federation is having a raffle of a Commissioner's Tag at this link - https://wyomingwildlife.org/commissioners-tag-sweepstakes/

If you know of any other worthwhile groups doing raffles, feel free to post them up here. I suspect they will do more conservation with the money than SFW/BGF.

Does the Harrisburg show auction of tags that for the most people are once in a lifetime at best and then give the proceeds from many of the tags to a "hunting" origination that at its core is nothing more than a front group for those that want all hunting to go to the highest bidder?
Nope. There's no auctions at the H-burg show.

A few raffles, new gear and guns, random knicknacks, too many cowboy hats and flat brims for PA, Sitka Gear as a fashion statement, $12 beers, overpriced crappy good, and lastly... crowded hallways filled with overweight dudes farting while walking in front of you with no way to escape the stink cloud.

All that being said.... I wouldn't miss it. I usually go two or three times across 9 days.

The banquet is sold out but the Arizona Desert Bighorn Sheep Society has raffles that you need not be in attendance for to win.

There’s the Big 30, as well as a few others.

People can go to that show if they want. I made a vow I would never go to that tag robbery started by Peay Day and SFW. I had my history with him on Monster Muleys when this all started. There was mention of slander and liability on me so I bowed out of that cult following. I figured I did what I could and exposed what I could but it didn't wake up enough people to justify the level of stress I had over it.

Was it him and his eleven wives that were upset with you?
Don't remember to tell the truth it was a long time ago. Might have been that the wife was making coin as a "consultant" to SFW on top of a lot of other things that sportsman money was being used for. There was so much talk on that topic it was hard to keep track of. All I know is a profitable business to be in is a non-profit.

Just don't mention anything about going to the show! Buzz will jump your shit or be waiting for you in the parking lot!
I'll watch my back but if Buzz could just look past my being born in Utah we'd get along for sure. I can neither confirm nor deny participation in the expo but being an average Utard my extra 10% goes elsewhere not SFW. FYI I don't own any Sitka or wear gaiters indoors either.

Never been. Never will be.

But in reading this thread and the others referenced in it, the whole “industry” around hunting is quite gross - in both its mechanisms and characters. Though, one of the beautiful things about hunting, is you could spend your whole life hunting and live unaware of it really.

Lol. My Facebook is in danger of being deleted for commenting on the Arnett thing, in addition to posting “pornography” last fall. Below are my offenses.

Honestly, Facebook is such a joke, I don't understand how they've made it this far. The only benefit for me is marketplace. If it wasn't for marketplace, my Facebook would be dead like my insta.
