Opinions on a couple Wyoming units.

I hunted 7 in ‘10 and it was great good amount WIA in addition to the small amounts of Nat’l Grasslands & BLM.

I’d happily spend a point for Newcastle especially if I could make the opener.

Look at random odds, subtract the 1st choice apps from the quota. That quota remainder will then go to the 2nd choice apps. Compare the two to see your odds of drawing as a 2nd choice.
The doe/fawn odds are not exact because they show 1st and 2nd choices as single apps even though you could apply for two licenses and theballocations aren't shown.

Yep, forgot to mention the random draw. If you draw a tag in it your PP will go away. 2nd and 3rd choice do not take your PP. Everyone not successful in their 1st choice drawing is put in for the random before they draw 2nd and 3rd choices.

The drawing odds listed on the Hunt Planner map do show the 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice applicant numbers.

The total number of tags for each area is listed on the link for the hunting seasons in the maps and regulations page.

I've been checking out unit 21 as well. It looks like between the walk in areas and the state/BLM land there shouldn't be issues with finding places to hunt, but maybe there's not a lot of good antelope habitat on those lands? Does anyone have any experience with this?
