I don’t own one, but from what I’ve seen you would be among good company with a 7mm rem mag.

My .280 Rem. all day long. Have a safe full of rifles and always reach for the 280. Very partial to the 7mm bullet.

Just curious what you had your 260 twist rate at? I looked a long time for a 1:8.

Ended up with a 1-9. Be alright though as I plan on nothing bigger than 129gr bullet's.

One gun to do it all... Would have to pick my .300WM a lot of versatility. Capable of around the world hunts. Still fielded by the US Military meaning tons of ballistic study on the capabilities of the round. .30 cal making reloading supplies more available (depending what's going on in the world) Also large variety of bullet weights from 110gr to 200gr+. The .300WM also can take a good variety of powders.
