If ever there was a town that NEEDED copious amounts of strong beer on tap 24/7, it is Waco, TX...

That's funny right there. My inlaws own rentals outside of Waco and my wife is the property manager, oh the stories!

I normally keep Amber Bock, Coors (Regular & Light) and Busch on hand. I don't care too much for hoppy beers, but prefer malty ones. I cook with Porter, particularly Polish sausage with sauerkraut. I like Spaten, but Optimator is too hoppy for me. DAB traditional is good as is Dos Equis amber.

Only have Natty Light in the fridge for friends. If they want something better they know to bring their own. A *little* bourbon doesn't give you the FULL feeling.

I'm stuck on Ranger IPA these days....in a can.

~Russian River Consecration
~Deschutes Red Chair NWPA
~Smithwicks Irish Ale

Several years ago, I was at a meeting in San Antonio, TX. It was there that I learned that to qualify as an imported beer, it had to come across the Rio Grande.

I had Dogfish IPA in Dallas this last weekend and it was pretty darn good
