Officer shoots driver w his own gun

Insane! How the eff did that chick get a badge/gun?
Many cops are not gun people and only shoot when required. Still, you have to have some situational awareness there. She had plenty of time and was not under duress.

Shot with your own gun for running a red light is probably not on anyone’s bingo card.

Being a gun person is besides the point. Any child going through gun safety knows to keep their booger hook off the bang switch, ESPECIALLY in a situation like that. I'd hope a damn cop understands that at least as well.

You can say what you may of a Glock and how safe they are, but a so called safety built into the trigger is a joke…
I mean… Pull the trigger and it fires. Don’t pull the trigger and it doesn’t. I don’t know how it gets any simpler than that.

She pulled the trigger. Hopefully this department looks a little more closely at their hiring process in the future.

Don't get me wrong if you want to shoot me in the leg for a million, I'm game lol. Only if you can guarantee a flesh wound.

The Glock is a separate issue altogether. The cop was wrong and responsible for the safety of the person she shot.

The Glock, however, isn’t the first time someone was shot due to handling, holstering or unholstering a loaded Glock and it won’t be the last…
