Caribou Gear Tarp

Not Just Bad On Grizzlies and Wolves.

Obviously there's a lot more details than given here in this little fluff piece of an article.

I'm betting that he had lawful custody and SHE fled the country with the kid. So an order returning the child to enforce the original judgment is certainly not unreasonable.

Mom can go back over there and make her argument in court.

These types of things happen a lot and whether it is a parent fleeing a state or a country, the only option is to go with the original order.

P.S. I agree that Molloy is an idiot but this is custody law 101.

Should the USA enforce Russian law too?

Lots of male Ukrainian citizens breaking Ukraines conscription laws, guess we need to start rounding them up………

Sure were a lot of war hawks on here a year or so ago urging this on.

And, will Molloy ever retire?

The U4U program is for two years. They are required to have a U.S. sponsor, they're authorized to work/study, and hold temporary residence in the U.S. They are not "admitted" into the U.S.. They are paroled.

There are many aspects missing from this emotional tug heart strings article. The other side of this, Ukraine is one of Europe's leading funnel points for human trafficking, etc. Zelensky has certainly made an impact to root out this garbage though organized crime is extremely strong within long standing corrupt governments. She's found U.S. a much safer country for her child - can anyone blame her? I don't. I'd fight tooth and nail though it's a losing battle to begin.

Seeing as though this lady took the U4U program and made a run for the U.S., her parole time is ticking down. Eligibility to re-enroll in the parole U4U is available though I'd imagine this lawful international custody order also plays an adverse factor in her own ability to re-enroll, none the less her [their] child.

This article is a journo's wet dream ASPCA commercial type promotion... Far more going on.

I'd imagine there still are. Just not the right thread to debate whether one supports Ukraine or Russia.

Shouldn’t this father be on the front lines with all the other fathers? That’s no place to raise a kid, is it?

Instead of posting a response, we need to add an eye roll for the sad, laughter, thumb up, etc icons.

This...

Seems like there ought to be some extenuating circumstances given the war...not permanent perhaps but delays.

Custody battles can be complex--he said she said is tough to decipher from a continent away.

But she's gainfully employed and has strong local support. We need more immigrants to become permanent, especially those already integrated into our culture and gainfully employed. Not enough US borne babies out there or even possible to make up for the HUGE loss in baby boomers retiring. Future of the country's economy depends on at least replacing those lost and we can't do it without major changes in the outrage of the day (against governement incenvtives to have kids, make it cheaper to raise kids, support for an orderly immigration process that brings more in and a portal for citizenship that is reasonable and easier than what exists now.
