Red-legged Partridges only live in Europe. It is a Chukar; which is part of the partridge family, and is native to Central Asia.

Gulbeck, hunkering down his little frame to not be seen hurried across the open area, with me, not really hunkering down my much larger and tired frame, just trying not to cause a avalanche.

This made me laugh.

I put that bullet in said a prayer and BOOM goes my gun. Gullbeck said "Gun go Boom" I said yes, He said" Whop" goes bullet. I said yes, and we might have Ibex maybe. He looks threw his half bino, and says "Maybe".

Yes you are correct, only in Europe, it is a Chukar Partridge.
