I was headed to bed and then I saw some pics on FB. What the heck, guess I will go for a drive.

I will be interested in what I got on my camera, but here are a couple quick phone pics.

Let's be honest, mostly it still sucked with the naked eye.

Until I got to pee at 3, and the sky was going crazy. Looked like I was staring up at a dancing river of light. No camera needed. The colors were still muted but the brightness was incredible. I tried to take a picture but none of them did it justice. I couldn't sleep afterward. As Anna says, "the sky is awake so I'm awake"

As I have said many times before, seeing the Northern Lights live is #1 on my bucket list. I don't know if I'll ever get to actually see them but until then I can't tell you all you guys how much these pictures mean. It's almost an emotional thing to see the pictures. Thank you to everyone that posts them.

Went for a drive down grid roads with the wife and kids last night to watch the show!!! They were pretty good last Tuesday night too, the lights were "dancing" like crazy!

Going again tonight if the sky stays clear, but we'll be definitely packing more blankets and hot chocolate for the kids!
