In 5 years of FCS championship eligibility, NDSU now has more rings than the revered Griz... that is all :hump:



The game was awesome, my girls loved the Perot Science Museum in Dallas, and the Ft. Worth Stockyards were pretty cool. The drive home through 13 hours of snow, wind, and ice sucked donkey balls.

You guys will hate Me but just like I said a year ago nothing but a bunch of fat slo white guys who couldn't make a division 1 team. Who cares in America Except a Few nodaks.. I was in a bar tonite and the dumb local said they are division champs. I said Look at the game on TV. That is division1 Championship game. Fl State vs Auburn is the national championship game. They don't get it here. No wonder the deer here are suffering . Sorry guys .but the more Folks I meet the more I feel like I am in the 70's These people just aint with it. they don't care after you can't Shoot of the hood of Your car no more. .They do it any way.........I aint Lying......BOB!

Yes NDSU could not beat either of the 2 teams that played tonight or should they be able to considering scholarships and that the assistant coaches make more than the ndsu staff. SU could beat many mid level bowl division teams now, that is pretty sad for that conference and yes you will have some fan that are proud of SU that can't put the talent into perspective and make some ignorant comments on how good they are or who they could beat but at the end of the day SU has a great program with good athletes or you couldn't win 3 national championships in a row. And yes I said National Champions because that is what it is the division 1 bowl series championship, the dumb North Dakota residence didn't name it the NCAA did.

Hey Bob, how about looking at it this way, since this is a hunting site you know. I know a guy who's an incredible hunter. He consistently shoots big critters. Every year he gets animals bigger than most people ever get. I'd say he's a division 1-A (now FBS) hunter. I know a lot more people who shoot some nice ones but not even in the same league. The one thing I like about him is he congratulates others not in his league on the accomplishments. I'm happy to be a division II hunter. What division did you say you were in?

I'm not sure I've seen you post one positive thing about North Dakota. If you hate the people and hunting so much. Why don't you move? Oh wait, I'm sure your making great money there because the oil got you there somehow. You're truly an addition to ND. Thanks BOB!
Coach Bohl started something great, those kids worked their tails off and deserve the positive recognition. The underclass has some outstanding athletes .. I'm not sure if they will be 4time, but they'll still be in the mix next year.

I agree with previous posters. You come to our state and you continue to take pot shots at the state. As far as I am concerned, if you can go on a f'in snipe hunt if you ever want advice on hunting or fishing in this state. Any post you generate requesting help, I will let the thread viewers know that you are a POS don't waste any effort on you.

I was born and raised in Williston and went through the first oil boom in late 70's/early 80's. One of the things you learn about much of the oilfield industry. You like to think you are so self important and doing the industry and economy a favor with your presence. I have a clue for you. If your body breaks down or you get hurt, you are just a piece of meat. The company will find another strong back/weak mind who will travel and they will replace you in a heart beat and not look back. Nature of the beast.

You epitomize why many locals and residents despise the influx of outsiders. Yes there are some nice people who come here. But it is users like you who give all newcomers a bad name.

I can't tell you how much editing I have done before posting this. But I have seen enough garbage out of you to fill a dump truck. You want to post about football and division differences, knock yourself out. But when you knock the residents of this state, the state you live in, you show your lack of integrity and character.

Props to anyone who competes. Whether you or your offspring are playing for Forida State or North Dakota State or in the local church flag football league. Being a champion is to be applauded. Just, do not confuse winning the greater Omaha church league with doing what Florida State did last night. Winning at the highest level of competition is what draws in fans. Drawing in fans is what fuels the ticket and braodcast revenues that allows a team to pay assistant coaches so much. Fans interest drove the process.

I observe a similar situation with how we hunt and treat other hunters. I just returned from a deer hunt were I shot a mature, average Coues deer after a very difficult stalk in some nasty steep terrain. Is my first Coues and is a trophy to me.

If Outdoor Life put a picture of my Coues on the cover then I confidently predict that issue would not sell well on the newstand. Covers drive impulse magazine sales. Covers need horn porn and promises of a magic trick that will allow Joe SixPack to make a giant take a dirt nap.

Football. Hunting. Super models. Society knows a winner when it sees one. Society just does not get to see lots of battles that generate trophies.

Go get a trophy in 2014.
