Nice!! I've never thought of mounting a deadhead or any of my matching sheds. My brother in law has a NV 8x6 matching set that should score over 200". Unlike you, he doesn't have it documented with pictures of where they came from.

Well tony if he's anything like me that shoots small ones cape them out and use them on a nice mount. Or just buy a cape.

i like how the taxi was able to bring some life back into those sun bleached antlers, good mount, im guessing finding a buck that big dead is just as hard and lucky as finding him walking around with a pulse

Taxi was my buddy but I did the antlers with early American by minwax. He said it was as good as job as he's seen.
