My wolf hunt made Fur, Fish and Game

Thanks to my oldest son Ben the story of our wolf hunt is in the current issue of Fur Fish and Game. I could be biased but I feel Ben did an outstanding job and I'm very proud of him for getting his first article published and making a couple bucks at it.

I have been holding out on posting the pics of the kill until the story came out but here they are.

She had killed this buck and was just finishing her meal when I spotted her and was able to kill her with a snap shot with the old 30-30.

Sorry if your all tired of hearing about my wolf I just wanted to give Ben a little recognition for getting his article published and would love to hear what you think if you happen to have a copy and read the article.

Good luck wolf hunting this fall! I am going back with high hopes of killing a black one this trip.

Favorite article this month. FF&G is by far the best magazine published, equal parts fishing, trapping, and hunting. Definitely for the practical outdoorsman.

That is great! Thanks and I doubt you will go to jail. I just didn't want to scan the article since they were nice enough to print it for my son but I am glad to see the picture on here.

And I agree it is a great magazine. I am more likely to find something useful to me in there each issue than all the other magazines I subscribe to. Just real down to earth stuff!

Thanks guys! When I saw that I had in fact killed that wolf was one of the most exciting moments I have experienced hunting.

Great trophy and a fantastic looking pelt on the wolf. Would have been an amazing hunt to be part of.
Thankfully we only have dingoes to worry about in Australia, and they do take their share of deer, but not like your canines do.
