I thought the area looked familiar but when I saw the power plant in the background I knew exactly where you were.
It's a tough hunt for sure but I'm glad you and your son kept at it.
I had him a chest pack with a pair of Swarovkis in it, but he didn't like them so in the truck they stayed. I get the dangers of glassing through a riflescope, but the reality was I had already checked the canyon for people and just had him glassing for elk in the shadows.Nice going and thanks for sharing.
Now get that kid some binos! Even if he was not using rifle scope to 'glass' in that one scene, every hunter needs binos.
So cool to learn those lessons together and share that experience. My boys are 3 and 1.
