I went to Discounttire which is known as Americas Tire Store in some parts of the country. Anyway I was only going to buy 2 Pathfinder 282/75/16 A/T tires at $372 mounted balanced and installed for the front because they were in the worst shape. The guy looked at the rear tires and said those are in pretty bad shape too. He asked if I was sure I only wanted to buy 2 and I told him that's all I could afford at the moment.
He then says let me go check something. When he comes back he asks if I could maybe swing $400 for a set of 4 Nitto Terra Grappler E load rated tires a guy had for 2 weeks and found they were too big.
They are so new they still have the little nubs on the tread surface.
I ended getting them for $425 mounted, balanced, installed with certificates for free replacement against road hazards.
Thats what I call a heck of a deal! :hump:
