MtMiller is gonna be ....

Miller bedded his buck, no one else was looking for it either so he feels the mojo

Two dandy bucks hit the dirt today. Both have around 16 long horns, good prongs, good mass, both I predict would make the book. We did good, and are both drunk and happy.. waiting for greenhorn to stop by soon and deliver more beer on his way to his unit.

pictures?.....

No. Not on this phone. You will have to be patient grasshopper. Greenhorn stopped by our camp and delivered some beer and cooked up some grub forr his son. It was good to visit with a couple hunting nuts from here again. He said he and spitz have a few monsters tied up and will hit the dirt in the next few days.

Schmalts got himself one of them thar Facey phones he doesn't know how to use yet. It took me 1 hour jsut explaining to him how to save my contact info in it and I still didn't get a Text message from him with dead animal pics..... He's can hunt, but when it comes to technology, he's got's sum learnin' to do :D

Yea, what he said. I can post pics to my photo album here, but do not know how to cut and paste them to a post.... any help? I am at the airport and will post some pics Monday. It was a real good hunt, good weather for the most part, good company, good lopes, good beer, good comfy hammock for sleeping out under the stars. No, there was no trees in sight, but power poles, snow fences, and millers truck worked as a tie point

First night I rolled into camp @ midnight. No time to get too comfy. Miller has a nice cot, this is what I get. I think my thermarest needs a patch before my elk hunt

RIP my friend.

I had him at 50 yards with the bow earlier in the week, but it didn't work out. I decided to leave him alone as I didn't want to push him out of the area. Still fun with the bang-stick.

Spitz & I are putting 2 great bucks to bed. somebody else is also camped on the one i want. either way.. my 2nd choice is still a great buck. should be exciting. hopefully we can have a similar day to craig and pat.

Best of luck fellas. Thanks for stopping by last night Kurt. Sorry I was so out of it. Getting up at 3 in the morning on the 8th night sleeping under stars (one rainy one) and half a dozen New Castles and some bad wine, I was not in my right mind.

Now what the hell am I doing on here and not in a shower after 10 days on the prairie.

Good luck Greenhorn and Spitz, I am looking forward to field pics.

Well done mtmiller and Schmalts! I guess I will wait for pictures...

So here is some pictures.
Where do you hang a hammock where there is no trees? Lots of places. High power line poles, snow fences and trucks, and look, the removable rain fly makes a great shelter from the sun while caping and boning.
