Track and locate a kill.....if it has been fed on very recently.... That cats within 800 yards.. proceed carefully and keep the wind right......

I’m late to this conversation but has anyone had any luck calling mountain lions? I plan on trying to go out on my own calling/tracking in around unit 14 any tips or tricks?? And should I use my .224 valkrie or my .308
