If you guys are in Meza, you could always go to Monty's. It has been a long time since I was there, but they served the Greatest Porter House I ever had. I could cut it with a butter knife, as a matter of fact the waitress
told me if I needed a steak knife she would take it back and bring me another steak, and
ya know that steak was at least 2" thick.
Just trying to be helpful.

Dennis ... Montys has fantastic steaks.. we eat at the one in phx on 19th ave and cactus...

The rusty pelican is a good place to eat as well.the only one I know thats left is in tempe down by the superstition and I-10 interchange...

I heard they had branched out, but also heard that there had been a problem within the family, and that the main chef at Monty's (meza) left and opened the Rusty Pelican, can you tell me if this is true?

MONTY'S IS ON ALMA SCHOOL RD, BETWEEN SOUTHERN AND I-60. THE ORIGINAL MONTY'S IS ON MILL AVE ON TEMPE, LATER THEY OPENED ANOTHER ONE ON DOBSON JUST SOUTH OF THE I-60. THAT ONE CLOSED DOWN, AND MOVED OVER TO ALMA SCHOOL RD. PERSONALLY, I THINK THE ONE ON MILL SUCKS. THE MONTY'S ON ALMA SKOOL KICKS A$$. IT'S ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES TO EAT. ONCE Y'ALL MEET ME, YOU'LL SEE WHAT I MEAN.....I'M FRIGGIN' HUGE.

Boy, you take one day off and look at what happens. I'll get these two to anywhere you all decide to gather. If left to my own devices, a little place called Red, White and Brew would be my choice. The food is only out classed by the beer selection. It at Power Rd. and McDowell. You all choose though. Just so that I know where to go. (That's not an invitation to tell me either...)

Hey Gotfish, I've been to the Mill Monty's and always had great meal and great service. I went to the one south of 60 on AlmaSchool? and it was totally lame! I think it was the one that closed down. I hope so anyway. The service sucked and they didn't even have the same menu! Anywhere's cool just would be nice if we had an autocratic S.O.B like maybe a Delmart representative to choose for us all!

OK, I'm an autocratic SOB like Delmart, so I'll choose. Red White and Brew it is. They have an outside patio and great food. It's located on the Northwest corner of McDowell and Power Road. Next question is when can everyone be there?? How about Saturday afternoon, 4/27, at 5:30?

Hey Dan! I'd love to check out the red white and brew some time. Mcdowell and Power eh? Sounds like a great place to hit after the lake (Saguaro).
