Montana Hunters.....We Need Your Help

Win for hunters. Political fodder for the demagogues. It's gonna be bleak over the next couple years if Maryland Matt wins this fall.

Certainly in agreement with that opinion, I think that hunters and outdoor recreationists should unite in support of "Maryland Mike's" political opponent, who is an outdoor sportsman. Not wanting to start another forum political firestorm ... yet this Montana Senate race is highly critical.

I don’t like voting for democrats if there is another option, but I’m sure as hell not voting for Maryland Matt.
A farmer from Montana or a real estate developer from Maryland that can’t pronounce ‘Montana’ is an easy choice for me.

After Testers hit on Ronny Jackson I cant in good conscience bmvote for him. Severely lacking in charachter IMO.
And for the record, I agree with Tester that Jackson was not qualified. However, to torpedo the guy with false accusations is just conduct unbecoming a Senator or anyone else for that matter.

Couple of opinion pieces making their way around MT on the easment

BWalker - If Ronny Jackson was innocent, he wouldn't have pulled his nomination, and he'd still be at the WH serving up pills to everyone. Instead - the Pentagon has launched an investigation into the guy after several former whitehouse staffers, VP Pence's staff and his own staff corroborated his untoward behavior. I'd not believe too much of the fake news about Dr. Feel Good. The truth here is that the concerns were legitimate, even the Chairman, Johnny Isakson (R-GA) thinks so.

Tester has our back. Rosendale doesn't. Plain and simple.

If true, I would generally agree with you, especially concerning a Montana congressperson, regardless of party affiliation. However, your choice of words may in itself be falsely accusatory in that what came out of Tester's rhetoric were fairly substantiated allegations. Allegations which were valid enough to spawn an official investigation ... something to be considered prior to expressing an opinion about what may be "unbecoming".

The allegations Testor raised were ad hominem in nature and proven false for the most part.
Testor was a noron to go there because there are many valid concerns with Jackson, IE he had zero experience.

In case folks hadn't heard yet - the Attorney General issued an opinion saying that Governor Bullock broke the law in allowing the Fish & Wildlife Commission to approve Horse Creek without Land Board approval. GOvernor Bullock filed suit with the Supreme Court to vacate the opinion and won. The Helena IR had a good story on the issue.

What this means for Habitat Montana is that there will be another assault on the program, running the gamut from repeal to modification to put more political oversight on the program, rather than abide by the original intent, which had worked well until 2017.
