Montana FWP pheasant scam

This is why I delay hunting birds till after big game season starts. Seems to really cut back the number of people in the field chasing pheasants. Mostly, I suspect, because hunters don't want their dogs along when they are after deer.

Also I suspect this year there's a ton of lockdown victims, especially nonresident, who are trying to make up for lost time. A bit surprising as I thought the price of gas would knock down numbers some. Maybe after big game opening week is done things will settle down.

Look at those majestic birds. The difference between stocked and wild pheasants is as bad as the difference between stocked and wild trout.
