I'm replicating my USMC original issue gear (Vietnam). Current project is my M1A. My Springfield has a synthetic stock, I was issued the old wood stock M14.

Karma comes together once in a blue moon and I stumbled upon another Marine doing the same, but his is for Desert Storm. Any-who he sold me his walnut stock for $25, without a scratch anywhere ($200 off the internet).

But....

It's minus the steel butt-plate and rear sling swivel.

So, where can I find these?

No. It's on the way back to Springfield as we speak, under warranty.

WOW!!! $170 for a packaged kit that has 1/2 more of the stuff I don't need.

$170 must be a complete kit in New condition, hopefully the parkerizing is a close match to your rifle.

Apex has an extensive selection of USGI parts but I don't feel like they accurately grade the condition of their items.
