Pretty much. I've always been pretty quick at that. Last mule deer I shot 4 times in a 30 yard dash.

Right out of high school my first time using a muzzleloader I missed by far the biggest whitetail I've ever seen on the hoof. I tried to reload and was shaking so bad there was powder, sabots and primers all over the phuggin ground around my tree stand until I ran out of supplies. Then he walked by at about 50 yards. Most painful experience of my hunting career. I almost threw up after.

Congrats man, so glad you got it done and it worked out so well for you! NM is great isn't it? I'd highly recommend the sxs retrieval next time, @Sask hunter finally has me convinced it's the way to go lol
