Anyone have time behind these binoculars? Impressions? I would be using these mainly from a treestand. I would like the higher magnification option to scan our marsh from a higher vantage point during the pre-rut to take inventory of what bucks are moving through. Let me know your thoughts on either the 8-12 or the 10-15. Thanks for your time.
 
I glanced through them one evening, they were Leica quality but I remember them being ridiculously heavy.
 
I heard that they were heavy as well. I'm not too worried about the weight. I hunt on private land, I use a bino harness, and the amount of walking I have to do is minimal.
 
Yep, I’ve had a pair at least 10 years, 10-15s. Love them. They will be the last pair I ever get rid of. My 10x ELs are a little better than the Duovids at 10 but when you switch over to 15 they shine. I’ve not been able to compare them to 15x SLC Swaro but I’m sure they are comparable. They are heavy but who cares we are talking ounces.
