Every year or two, my boss like to organize a "Father & Son camping trip".
About a dozen fathers and maybe twenty kids camped near Hume lake, just outside of Kings Canyon National Park. Good, clean fun.
Saturday morning several of us headed down to the lake, for some blue gill and planted trout.
This young man caught his first fish, a blue gill. You can see how proud papa is..
My son Erik was a terror on the trout.

That afternoon, the forest service put on a Raptor show and tell.
Hawks and owls.
After dinner, toasted marshmellos and S'mores around the campfire.
