Trophy or not, he was a wily old rat. Took several tries before "Victor" got it done. I would have let him walk if he had not set up house in my attic.

Yikes, he’s big.
I once stayed at a cabin were I caught 18 mice in the 8 day stay. Those Victor traps worked pretty well.

This has been an awful year for rats. Raising hobb with my wife’s new flowers. For awhile I caught a multitude . Now they are wise to the traps, just kick them out of the way and gobble my wife’s plants.

I removed the bait because I plan market it. Custom trigger set to 3 micro-ounces, and I upgraded to the Bonecrusher Magnum Springs.

Ah, magnum springs. Some say that is overkill but I like it. Victor should get together with Weatherby. Just think a Weatherby-Victor rat trap

Man I've been killing rats like crazy this year (all the fires pushed them into more rural and urban areas).

I think we have an opportunity to establish a B&C minimum for rats. I'd go with skull measurement like bears.
