Is it really April?

So how did you get that shot and the snake isn't squared up to you?Every one I have come up on almost always adjusts if i walk around it in a circle.

Actually my coworker was close enough to keep this guys attention for a few shots.:D

I intended to just sleep on my cot, but a lightning show made me put up a tent just in case. Good call since I only lasted about 5 minutes before rain hit.

Love my job some days.

Pretty sweet to see world class sheep, pronghorn, mule deer and sage-grouse within 2 miles of where you are camped out.

Those scenery shots are gorgeous. Are you getting that good of shots straight from the camera or do you tweak 'em in Photoshop? No matter how you get them, those are great shots.

My grouse pics were cropped and sharpened. I did post process a couple of these shots. A little warmth and maybe saturation. Just used the free editing program that came with the computer.

Miller is there a critter in the second shot just right of center? Looks like a coyote facing you.

Just a rock, but you made me have to zoom in an verify.:D

Raining pretty good right now. Might be some time before I can get back in that country again due to mud.

Snowing like a mad over here. Heading your way I believe. I've got 4 inches on the ground already. That should make the snakes go down their holes.:D

I'm thinking I like the second picture better.wow, pretty neat, and the black and white is even better.Whatever it is you do,sure beats humping building material, wanna trade?

Thanks Hem. I have been blessed the way things have worked out. Very thankful and hope I am making a difference.

You do have a great job and one that seems to be rewarding. We just need to find you a permanant lady friend to share that tent with and you'll be set.;) Can only imagine what a pack of little Millers running around would do for the eastern montana landscape.:D

Why does he need a lady friend? The photo the dog took of him photographing the snake is great:D
Cheers
