I was reading thru an old journal by a guy in Eastern MT, some the things he wrote about that may interest some of you.... was in the early 60's they shot jackrabbits for the mink and fox farms in Minn. Got paid 50cents to a buck a piece. Used a 22, and then the 22 mag was the ticket, and then the 243 was for those with money to spend. The first fox anyone had seen in that part of the state(around Baker) was in 63. One of the first coyotes seen along the hiline was in 74.
