Majority if people I know that have them are probably gonna have a real hard time not using them the wrong way when it's sitting right there on the seat. Unfortunately.Anyone using thermals to find big game i.e deer and elk so they can get a jump on em should be kicked right in the bag and have their privileges revoked immediately. I feel the same for people that use drones that shit is GAY AF.
There's no doubt it is a to each his own type deal. I just sit back and ask myself where is the line? I hear stories of people using thermals drones to scout. It just takes away from the adventure in my opinion.Majority if people I know that have them are probably gonna have a real hard time not using them the wrong way when it's sitting right there on the seat. I'm right there with you. Most people don't ask them self that though imo. Just look at all the thermal drone recovery shit. There's no doubt it is a to each his own type deal. The fact that they brought them along says it all.Majority if people I know that have them are probably gonna have a real hard time not using them the wrong way when it's sitting right there on the seat. Unfortunately.
It was hypothetical. But yah.The fact that they brought them along says it all.
Why not just shoot them at night too? At that point ethics are out the window IMO.At least 10 years ago I had a Mexican guide tell me they were flying thermal drones at night to find big mule deer and then shoot them the next morning.

Never said they were my hunting partners. I know plenty of teachers and carpenters (whatever difference that makes) that could afford a thermal though. You all know a different class of hunters. My hunting partners are teachers, carpenters, and service workers. Folks budget for a new knife, let alone thermal gear. Phuck all that noise.
There's been times when I'm walking out late and thought to myself, for all I know someone is watching me with a thermal. You're never really alone anymore.Who can stay up late enough to take advantage of them.
We're not all on cocaine.
Ive actually never looked at prices. Replied on emotion, maybe talked out of my lane. Sounds expensive and a luxury. Regardless, phuck they $hit for hunting purposes.Never said they were my hunting partners. Thermals are for predator/ hog control and they're badass for that.
