If you are wearing Sitka gear is it still road hunting?

Sitka gear is so good that I got arrested for road hunting while I was on a fly out moose hunting trip in Alaska, no roads for 500 miles!

If you take out Sitka and insert pink dress, this thread exposes how much we sound like jr. high girls. Who gives a rat’s ass what camo others are wearing!?

Lighten up Francis, pretty sure this thread is very tongue in cheek.
Fair enough. A few comments are questionable, though. I hated “groups” in HS and I’m getting that same vibe.

It's usually you asking me why I'm triggered. This all started because I thought it a little ironic that I was adding and shedding layers while driving to various glassing spots on Sunday. I didn't find any bears.

Asking for a friend.
If you're an old fart with $$$ for $2,000 Sitka Gucci gear road hunting, it's the same as:

A single old fart with $$$ to play sugar dady... You're likely not walking down the busiest sidewalk with her arm laced yours for the amazing mental connection.

You're doing both because you have the $$$ to feel good, look good, and enjoy the rack from your truck... or wherever.

Tell y'er "friend" to enjoy the ride... ;)

The seat heater in my truck really makes my puffy jacket like feel like an incinerator. And I'm really wondering if they can shed a couple ounces from their current puffy offerings because I'm trying to keep the weight down. When you put on a couple hundred miles a day that extra weight adds up.

When's Sitka gonna figure out how to make a puffy that adapts to my seat's heat setting? It's like they just took a year off for Covid or something.

I get it. Any luck yet?

Nope. I have to work too many hours to pay off my Sitka gear and put gas in the GMC. There is not a lot of enthusiasm at home for me to shoot a bear.

I too make fun of "Hunter Bros" but lets not forget the average hunter clad in orange shirt and jeans, who shoots from the truck and doesn't bother looking for a deer if it didn't drop within sight...

At least the "Hunter Bros" pretend, or actually do care about wildlife... they just look and sound like D-bags...

Never underestimate a hunter in blue jeans they probably know that they are doing.

Not around here they don't! The average blue jean wearing "hunter" drives around grid roads, shoots from the truck, shoots animals on posted land and speeds away when they can't do a quick retrieval or when another truck drives by...

I've witnessed dozens of guys shooting from the truck only to get the heck out of there when they see you. These guys are so good at it you don't even get a chance to catch a license plate and proper description to report them...
