Hey i won something.......[Samsung "mini' theater system]...I bought a raffle ticket in the ..Health and Wealth raffle .. that benefits ST.Josephs Hospital....anyone know what it is?

A mini theatre system sounds like a portable DVD screen with portable surround sound that also has a home hook up. It is just a smaller version of the HOME theatre system and it looks just as good. Have fun with it!!

I just hope its worth a $100.... thats what each [tax-deduct ticket cost]..i only bought one ticket......so i guess i`m lucky..[everyone tells me i am lucky] my sister bought 3 tickets and got nothing HA,HA.... she has too much money anyway... its coming Fed X sometime this month... just wondering what the hell it is?

Congrats cj, thats a hell of a raffle. I wish I could afford to buy some of those ticketts. One of the prizes was a motorhome + cash, one was caddy + cash one a suv +cash ect......

We have a provena saint joseph's hospital here in Joliet Illinois. But I did hear they have more throughout the country somewhere.

It only takes one ticket... and the odds are 1 in 18 of winning a prize... the odds are much better than any lottery in the country. So instead of wasting $5-$20 a week on a long shot lotto... just save up for 1 ticket......plus its tax deductable and for a good cause.

I bought one becuase i know a guy who won a house and a new jaguar last year and he only bought one ticket...

Congratulations. I hope I'm as lucky as you were.............I bought one raffle ticket from the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation for a drift boat. The raffle is this Saturday. My odds aren't too good though.....there are supposed to be 1200 tickets sold for the boat/trailer.

The odds arent as good as you think!
They are only that way for the first draw, then those that win their names go back into the hat making the odds even less than 1:18. It goes to 1:30 - - 1:50 etc with each draw.
Still you beat the odds and won something and the tickets are not tax deductable now that you won something worth more or equal value to the 100.00 you spent.
Still congrats and that is a cool prize.
